I know. I know. I'm terribly terribly late. But this collection gives me uber chiffongasms so I had to make this my first post. Even with new designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli, the romanticism of Valentino is still yanking my heart strings with its multifarious use of chiffon and ever so clever touches of leather. Will you please just look at the shoes?So basically,
This is my first post and I suppose I will entertain you with a short anecdote on why I started this bloggy blog. I was feverishly skimming fashion blogs/ websites with at least 12 different tabs open as I usually am on any glorious Sunday afternoon around 4 o'clock, when I asked myself: Why is my blog so lame and rarely updated? (My blog being ayemimz.blogspot.com)
Then I realized:
Ohh right. I'm lame and rarely updated. My blog "Dustbunnies from my Mind" is completely centered around my designs. Being a highschool junior with ridiculous weekend extracurriculars (sewing classes, 6-hour art lessons, sat prep, homework homework and more homework) I rarely have time to sit down with my lovely sewing machine, "Napoleon", and have 5 hour long conversations cutting, draping, and seam-ripping away. To be honest, I'm quite a lazy bug too and I'd rather spend those 5 hours cozied up in my sheets ravenously stalking blogs. :) So I have very few garments to show off in that bloggy blog. Sowwy :(
Epiphany:
AHA! I shall make another blog! It's much easier to pour my random fashion gushies into a blog than have to toil for hours before writing just one post. So here we are. From one addict to another. Let's binge.
